January 27: African-American Agriculture in Kansas

Prairie Heritage is teaming up with Geary County Juneteenth to sponsor a program, "African-American Agriculture in Kansas," on Monday, January 27, 2014, 7 p.m., at the Dorothy Bramlage Public Library in Junction City, Kansas. The library is located at 320 W. 7th St. in Junction City. Anne Hawkins, a history professor at Washburn University and a member of the Kansas Humanities Council Speakers Bureau, will present her research, followed by discussion. Refreshments will be served.
